Flor de Caña has entered into a new collaborative distribution agreement with the Italian spirits company Fratelli Branca Distillerie. The move is aimed at expanding the rum's commercial footprint within the Italian market in 2026.

The partnership between Flor de Caña and Fratelli Branca Distillerie aligns two family-owned businesses with multi-generational legacies. In doing so, the agreement also emphasizes shared values around tradition, sustainability, and quality.

Flor de Caña will make the full range of Nicaraguan rum available to Fratelli Branca Distillerie. This spirit is sure to capture attention on Italian shelves due to its being naturally aged and produced with notable environmental practices. The rum brand is noted for using "100% renewable energy, capturing all CO₂ emissions during fermentation, planting over one million trees, and being Carbon Neutral Certified."
