Whiskey Ice Cream Floats

This Boozy Float Recipe Includes Stout Beer and Dark Chocolate Syrup

This whiskey float recipe is an adult take on a dessert-like beverage. Created by Maryanne Cabrera at the food blog The Little Epicurean, the boozy whiskey and stout ice cream float is even appropriate for Halloween, and pairs perfectly with a number of autumnal desserts.

The float recipe includes homemade whiskey-flavored ice cream, which is made out of whole cream, your preferred whiskey brand, sea salt, heavy cream, egg yolks and dark brown sugar. There is also a dark chocolate syrup made from scratch, consisting of water, vanilla paste or extract, unsweetened cocoa powder, sea salt, light corn syrup, instant espresso powder and granulated sugar. Other components this float recipe calls for include Irish cream, bourbon and chilled stout beer (like Guinness).
