Yukon's Air North is utilizing its talented Flight Kitchen team, which is led by Chef Michael Bock, to serve customers during the COVID-19 pandemic—and not necessarily on flights. Although in-flight menus don't necessarily have the best reputation, it is evident through this example that there is enough demand on the market to form a niche market.
The innovative Flight Kitchen Delivery service operates within Whitehorse, Yukon only. It gives one a taste of the delicious meals that can usually be found on one of the airline's destinations, but this time they are delivered to your doorstep. The options are pre-cooked and frozen in order to give consumers some flexibility and convenience.
At any given time, individuals can order up to 20 meals and a delivery charge of $10 will apply.
