Those who will be attending the State Fair of Texas this year have the opportunity to sample a wide range of fun new food and beverages, and adults will be able to taste a uniquely flavored ale.
True to its name, the Corn Dog Ale takes inspiration from a battered, deep-fried sausage and as the State Fair of Texas describes, it was formulated to "evoke the flavor and aroma of a classic, delicious corndog." The amber ale was made with a blend of Pale 2-Row barleys, caramel malt and smoked malt, plus eight specially selected herbs and spices to recreate the smokiness of the classic state fair food.
