Koenig & Bauer Unveils Its Flatbed Die-Cutter CutPRO 2.1

Koenig & Bauer introduced the CutPRO 2.1, a flatbed die-cutter developed for corrugated board processing with a focus on production stability and reliability. The machine can handle sheets up to 1,300 x 2,100mm at speeds of up to 7,000 sheets per hour and supports substrates ranging from solid board to corrugated board.

The CutPRO 2.1 uses Varioplan and Variolever technology to harmonize gripper movements, alongside optimized delivery and non-stop systems designed to reduce machine stops and micro-stops. Additional features include an automatic chain tensioner, improved waste routing, compatibility with existing die-cutting tools and a redesigned HMI intended to simplify training and operation.

For converters, the system aims to deliver steadier throughput and reduce unproductive downtime. Integration with Koenig & Bauer’s myKyana ecosystem also enables real-time production analysis and AI-supported functions designed to help minimize operating errors.
