Benoit David Adds Rolls of Flab and Limbs to His Photos

I'm pretty sure that Benoit David is an odd sort of fellow. He hails from Montreal and just completed an exhibit for the Brooklyn Art Project. That's pretty normal, but check out his Photoshop illustrations. Odd.

Then visit his website and find even more oddities. A critic called his “vision” clear and sharp and “truly important.” The critic saw an inner purpose and strength.

Implications - Photoshopped ads have the ability to represent an altogether different version of reality. This bizarre world engages consumers imagination in a really riveting manner. Companies should consider how they can build an ad campaign that utilizes the consumer's imaginative faculties to foster a deep and sustained connection.
