Brand new to the gaming market, SUPERHOT is a first-person shooter game where time only moves when the gamer is in motion.
In the game, players are to navigate through a storm of slow-motion bullets while only using the weapons of fallen enemies. Unlike other first-person shooter games -- which are generally all the same -- this video game abandons the conventional mechanics for an original premise all its own. SUPERHOT forgoes regenerating health bars and convenient ammo drops unlike popular first-person shooter games such as Call of Duty and Halo. With time in the game only moving when the players move, the gameplay blurs the lines between cautious strategy and intemperate chaos.
SUPERHOT is available for Linux, Mac as well as Windows and will launch for Xbox One in March.
