Associated Packaging Technologies (APT) will be using the FirstCarbon ghgTrack software software to help measure and manage APT's carbon footprint from plastic food tray manufacturing. ATP will also track and reduce emissions from its global suppliers using the FirstCarbon ghgTrack software.
FirstCarbon ghgTrack software will help APT manage the carbon emissions from its production of 2.5 billion plastic containers each year.
Implications - Not only will this eco-friendly move help APT reduce the costs of their package design, but it will also be helping out the environment in a big way. Hopefully more companies will look up to APT and follow in their footsteps to develop more eco-friendly ways to produce and package their products.
