Japanese mobile operator KDDI recently unveiled its transparent Firefox Smartphone model, the FxO. The long-awaited mobile device is designed by Tokujin Yoshioka and features see-through casing that reveals the phone's interior elements.

From its exposed battery to its Firefox OS signage, this device is displayed in a gold tone and marries style with function. The transparent Firefox Smartphone is manufactured by LG and runs on the Firefox OS 2.0 operating system. Moreover, it features HD graphics and is equipped with Framin software that allows users to customize their lock screen in a variety of ways.

The mobile device is crafted out of clear polycarbonate materials and is both lightweight and durable. In addition to carrying the mobile device, KDDI also sells a number of other accessories that are compatible with the product.
