The city of Chicago is celebrating the 30th anniversary of the 80s classic Ferris Bueller's Day Off with an event called 'Ferris Fest.' Set to take place between May 20th and 22nd, the event is the perfect way to celebrate the beloved teen movie.
Ferris Fest will kick off with a screening of the classic movie, which will be hosted by film critic Richard Roeper. After viewing the film, festival goers can join one of the two-part bus tours that stop at various filming locations across the city. They can even visit a replica of Ferris' room, complete with a crash test dummy lying in bed. Finally, the festival will culminate with a recreation of the iconic parade scene, in which Buller takes over a float and lip-syncs the song Twist and Shout.
