The Ferrari FXX K is a vehicle, based on the LaFerrari supercar, is unlikely to ever be sold or race in a proper competition. However, it will be unveiled as part of the 2014 Finali Mondiali Ferrari, a four-day extravaganza celebrating all things Ferrari.
The 'K' in the Ferrari FXX K's name is derived from the 'KERS' kinetic energy recovery system that the car uses to replenish its batteries, which juice up the 187-horsepower electric motor. The vehicle is equipped with a 6262 cc V12 engine which has been modified to produce 848 horsepower, a significant upgrade from the 789 horsepower of the Ferrari.
The car has a highly striking appearance thanks to its twin-profile spoiler and a big splitter which bears a gap in the center. The design doesn't just look great but is designed for maximum aerodynamism.
