The Newest Ad for 'Game of War' Features Mariah Carey Saving the Day

The newest ad from the mobile role-playing game 'Game of War: Fire Age' features Mariah Carey shooting a fire-breathing dragon out of the sky. The ad also incorporates the sultry artist's 1993 song titled 'Hero.'

In the playful commercial, two men are seen in distress and they use their mobile phones to call for help during their medieval role-playing game. Each time they call for help, the song Hero begins to play and a new crew of medieval soldiers come running into the scene to help out the current players.

At the end of the ad, Mariah Carey appears out of nowhere with a bow and arrow to save the lives of the two men playing Game of War. The humorous contrast of the song Hero playing softly in the background combined with aggressive men in armor running into battle is a playful addition to the brand's appealing medieval theme.
