The Fausto Puglisi Fall 2014 Collection is vibrantly colorful and dynamic collection that showcases the designer’s enthusiasm and passion. Debuting at the Milan Fashion Week, the Fausto Puglisi Fall 2014 Collection is full of contrasts, some that are supposed to work together and others that aren’t.
"It’s ladylike and young; it’s wife and mistress at the same time; chic and shock; sophisticated and a little bit vulgar," says the fearless Puglisi.
Always in pursuit of extremes, the collection is inspired by the work of Russian artist Kazimir Malevich and Ukrainian Orphic artist Sonia Delauney. Featuring abstract prints with images such as the Ballets Russes, Sonia Delaunay and the Statue of Liberty, the line plays with color and proportion to create a kaleidoscopic collection ranging from flirty pleated minis to demure mid-length skirts.
Playing with patchworks of black, ivory, red, turquoise, purple and black, the collection is vibrant and meticulously put-together.
