Sustainable Style Non-Profits

Fashion Takes Action is a Canadian Social & Environment Organization

Fashion Takes Action is a Canadian non-profit organization that works to support sustainability in the clothing and apparel industries. Their approach is directed toward both ends, so to speak, as they speak to the mainstream public as well as those already in the industry as a way to focus on their collective social and environmental mission. That is to say, both consumption and creation or production are part of the conversation at large.

They recently held Connect Beauty, a fundraiser in Toronto that attempted to make "the connection between sustainability, health and style."
