Prague authorities in the Czech Republic recently tried to save money on traffic lights by placing fake cardboard police officers at dangerous junctions. While they had hoped to avoid accidents, they have instead doubled them!

The fake cardboard police officers turned out to be a great driver distraction. Whether or not ogling the cut outs was the actual cause of new crashes is debatable, but without a doubt, the mini-skirted model was out of place in the wintry environment!

The traffic department will have to either rethink their approach or fork out the money for proper traffic lights!
