Starbucks Canada Now Requires All Customers to Wear Facial Coverings

In an effort to prioritize the health and safety of customers and employees alike, Starbucks Canada recently implemented a mandatory mask policy, requiring everyone frequenting the store to don a facial covering.

While most of Canada already has regulations in place mandating shoppers to wear masks, the coffee chain's new policy will target select locations without these regulations and allow customers without facial coverings to order through the drive-thru, curbside pickup via app orders, or placing an order for delivery through Starbucks Delivers.

Starbucks Canada commented on the new policy, stating the brand "is committed to playing a constructive role in supporting health and government officials as they work to mitigate the spread of COVID-19. All decisions are grounded in partner and customer care and safety, based on facts and science, and communicated with transparency."
