Late last week, Facebook unveiled their custom username feature, which allows users to select a permanent vanity URL for their profile. While many selected a variant of their names for personal branding purposes, hundreds more went the opposite route.
Take Christine Shipley, for example, who selected facebook.com/default.aspx in an attempt to mirror the Facebook landing page. Or Ryan Shaquille Hopper, who went for the reversal with www.facebook.com/moc.koobecaf.www.
Nilo Sigmondius Cobau went for Internet meme glory with his Facebook username www.facebook.com/rickroll, and Keith Bromke flexed his keyboard muscles by replicating the entire QWERTY keyboard with his Facebook username www.facebook.com/qwertyuiopasdfghjklzxcvbnm.
