Using a colored cosmetic medium, the artist creates unbelievable paintings that range from Day of the Dead homages to blood-covered and skeleton-inspired images.
Despite of being self-taught, the rookie makeup artist has already received a ton of attention from other Redditors with an appreciation for her talent. Manatee94's hobby began when she experimented with a Halloween makeup kit a few months ago and the rest is history.
Her incredibly gory face paintings take up to an hour to complete and feature no use of prosthetics or Photoshop enhancements. While she is comfortable working on her own face, the artist says she is still not ready to transform other people for now.
