Essentially a wearable computer, the Eyes-On Glasses System is meant to be used by medical professionals, not just anybody with a generous chequebook. Developed by Evena Medical, a Silicon Valley based imaging technology firm, it “one of the first healthcare applications of smart glasses commercially available on a global scale," as revealed in their recent statement. The Eyes-On Glasses System provides a seamless blend of both physical and digital worlds to allow doctors and nurses perform better vein detection. It also documents patients' vein histories.
