Autofocus-Providing Eyewear

This High-Tech Eyewear Boosts Focus On Objects In Your Central View

Vixion, a company that is owned by Japanese optics company Hoya, has introduced a set of high-tech eyewear that is designed to be able to enhance autofocus so that you don't have to engage your eye muscles every time you want to elevate your focus.

Introduced at CES 2024, the 'Vixion01' eyewear is equipped with a depth sensor that is capable of calculating the distance between yourself and the subject in the middle of your field of view. It then alters the shape of the lenses in order to enhance focus. In other words, all you have to do is center the object of interest in your field of view in order to enjoy increased focus.

Sold in Japan for a price of $690, this high-tech eyewear is set to eventually be rolled out into global markets, where it may be useful for everything from headache-prevention to interesting industrial applications.
