The timepiece presents an openworked interpretation of the Extra Plat, using the brand’s signature double-ellipse case crafted in 18k 5N rose gold. Measuring approximately 38.6 millimetres by 35.5 millimetres, the case maintains the slim proportions associated with the Extra Plat line. The skeletonised calibre DR002SR is developed by La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton and features hand-finished rose gold bridges arranged to expose the gear train, balance, and winding components. Blued steel hands provide contrast against the open architecture for legibility.
The manually wound movement offers a power reserve of around 65 hours and is visible from both the front and back of the watch. The model is produced in limited annual quantities rather than as a numbered edition. A leather strap completes the watch, aligning with the collection’s formal positioning.
