The street artist Evol's Building series mimics classic metropolitan structures by way of power boxes, urban blocks and various concrete pieces. The German expert has done this via stenciling, placing images of windows, satellites and doors where they otherwise would never be.
These miniature models are as much adorable as they are detailed. Many of the superimposed windows feature curtains, some of which are drawn back. These characteristics add a notion of realism to the Building project, making viewers feel as if his replications are life like.
That Evol has chosen to emphasize apartment complexes is furthermore in line with the gritty urbanite areas that he works within, bringing forth a new kind of harmony between art and industrial architecture.
