The Evapolar is a truly portable air conditioner. While many air conditioners tout themselves as being 'portable', most of them really aren't that easy to lug around. However the Evapolar well and truly lives up to the portable tag, with a weight and size about that of a toaster.
Somehow, despite such a small package, the device manages to offer an evaporative cooling system that both cools and humidifies the air. It does this with the use of an evaporative nanomaterial based on special basalt fibers initially developed for use by the Russian military.
Indeed the technology used by the Evapolar has been used in industrial air conditioners in Moscow for some years now. It has proven its worth, and is now transitioning from use in industrial settings only to a more widespread consumer offering.
