An ethereal aesthetic is possibly the best descriptor for Cafe Constance—an establishment located in the downtown Wilder Building in Montreal. The building is also home to Les Grands Ballets Canadiens. The cafe is inexplicably connected to the ballet school and even its name is a tribute to one of the organization's former leaders, Constance Pathy.
Atelier Zébulon Perron was tasked with orchestrating this ethereal aesthetic of Cafe Constance, which is communicated through luxury materials, curvaceous shapes, and (more noticeably) the beautiful pink pendant lights that intentionally "resemble dancers' skirts."
Cafe Constance has numerous uses for Les Grands Ballets Canadiens. Located in the lobby of the building, the establishment is utilized for social gatherings by the artists and employees of the school. During functions and performances, Cafe Constance doubles as a reception venue.
