These 'Equalizer' Hanging Lights Can Change Their Color

Ladies & Gentlemen Studio designed the 'Equalizer' hanging light collection, a series of lighting pendants made from glass spheres that have the capacity to change colors.

The lights were created for design retailer The Future Perfect and were created to be customizable. They hang on metal frameworks that can be manipulated by consumers to form various shapes and displays. The metal frames come in three different colors including a "dusty blue, champagne bronze and dark bronze." The customizable lights can even function as dividers in open concept spaces.

When the lights are on, they give off a gentle, multi-hued glow that would create a soothing ambiance in any space. The appearance of the Equalizer hanging lights is somewhat reminiscent of 'Newton's cradle' -- the physics-based device with circular moving pendulums that demonstrates momentum and energy.
