Engrish Signboards actually exist, and while they provide cautions and warnings to aid travelers they may just end up perplexing them instead. ‘Engrish’ often refers to versions of English used in the wrong context or incorrect grammar, which can be found in many places in East Asia. These signs may confuse English-speaking tourists or make them do double takes. If there’s a lesson to be learned here it's when in doubt, always carry a pocket translator and cross your fingers that nothing gets lost in translation.
