The Eneco Headquarters is Filled with Earth-Friendly Details

— July 19, 2012 — Eco
Situated in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, the Eneco Headquarters is designed to provide a healthy, green work environment -- which is fitting for this sustainable energy corporation. Powered by solar panels and filled with oxygen-producing plants, the office reflects the company's mission to provide earth-friendly alternatives.

Visitors and workers enter a spacious atrium that is the hub of the building -- is it just me or does it not look suspiciously like the Men in Black headquarters? To help define functional areas, vibrant rugs and furnishings have been clustered into color-coded "islands." Modular sofas allow employees to host impromptu meetings with just the right amount of privacy.

Designed by the Hofman Dujardin Architects in collaboration with Fokkema&Partners, the Eneco Headquarters is brimming in earth-conscious details and work-friendly features.
