For the September 2014 issue of Elle Sweden the iconic fashion magazine puts away bikinis, shorts and dresses and makes way for layered, autumn-appropriate looks starring alluring models Stina Olsson and Emmy Rappe.
Photographer John Scarisbrick captured the beauty of both Olsson and Rappe in a vibrantly jewel-toned editorial that focused on layering multiple pieces for warmth and style. The shoot was photographed on the edge of a beach that still captured September as the tail-end summer month with the editorial focusing more on the cooler weather. The girls wore bulky sweaters, bell-bottom pants and chunky boots in a wide variety of mod patterns and neon hues. While many of the garments were heavier in texture and oversized, stylist Robert Rydberg made the clothes form-fitting and feminine by using belts to synch in the waist.
