There's no doubt penguins are able to keep warm with all their fat, and designer Jaehwa Lee cleverly uses that concept in the Embracing Warmth design.
Embracing Warmth is a hand warmer device that takes inspiration from the emperor penguin and how these wobbly walking fellas keep themselves and their hatchlings warm. The actual warmer is the pad that takes form of a penguin egg. It takes only two to three watts to charge the Embracing Warmth design.
To warm up the hands, simply squeeze down on the penguin's arms to its side and out pops a warmer. Another great feature is a weather indicator that lights up on the penguin's chest. It's able to let users know the forecast and whether or not they'll need to carry around a warm egg on a cold winter day.
