Traveling by cruise ship could become a lot more popular if the Electronic Ship Ticket ever goes from concept to reality. This futuristic ship ticket was created by Bao Haimo, Piao Hailong, Liu Yuancheng, Hu Xiameng and Qiao Song. The purpose of this design is to make large cruise ships easier to navigate.
The Electronic Ship Ticket has a map of the ship printed on it. This map displays the important areas on each deck of the ship. The ticket also has an "urgent" feature that is used to help guide passengers to safety in the event of an emergency.
The ticket is programmed with information specific to the purchaser. When the cruise is over, the passenger simply turns in their Electronic Ship Ticket so that its data can be erased and reprogrammed for the next passenger.
