El Anatsui creates art from recycled objects. His sculpture tapestries installations are made out of timber, bottle caps, labels, coppers wires, washers and aluminum.

The artist from Ghana focuses on the state of African culture and traditions as his subjects for his glorious recycled art.

One of his works that has recently been exhibited in Venice was just purchased by The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art.

Implications - The use of recycled materials such as timber, copper or aluminum is an effective way to create new products out of existing ones. As a result of the environmental movement, consumers appreciate and expect some degree of recycling, reducing or reusing from all 21st century businesses.
