Evoke Motorcycles introduced the Nrgy, a compact electric motorcycle offered in two trims and built around affordable LFP battery packs. The Nrgy 6 pairs a 6.4-kWh LFP battery with a roughly $4,995 price, while the Nrgy 8 uses an 8.4-kWh pack with a roughly $6,495 tag, and Evoke quotes a top speed of about 75 mph (120 km/h).
Range estimates span 88–132 miles city for the smaller pack and 116–163 miles for the larger pack, and charging rates vary from 0.5 kW up to 3.3 kW with Evoke claiming 30%–80% in 30 minutes on its charger. The bike uses a patented Twin Plate frame, dual rear shock absorbers, 43 mm inverted front forks, and hydraulic disc brakes front and rear, with curb weights of 344 lb (156 kg) and 401 lb (182 kg).
Styling nods to cruiser silhouettes with a visible, chunky battery housing and a minimalist tail, aiming to deliver a genuinely usable commuter that can handle highway speeds. Its mix of LFP cells and modest power outputs targets everyday affordability and longer battery life, while the company has plans to sell in Southeast Asia, Europe and North America.

Why This Trend Is Growing
- Affordable Electric Commuters
- Low-cost highway-capable e-motorcycles create space for mass-market mobility products that bridge urban commuting and regional travel without premium EV pricing.
- LFP Battery Mobility
- Longer-life lithium iron phosphate packs introduce new value propositions around durability, safety and lower ownership costs in compact electric vehicles.
- Lightweight Highway E-motorcycles
- Compact motorcycles with usable top speeds and extended city range signal emerging demand for electric two-wheelers that replace cars on daily routes.
Industries Being Reshaped
- Electric Vehicles
- Budget-oriented two-wheel EV platforms broaden electrification beyond cars and scooters, reshaping expectations for practical personal transportation.
- Urban Mobility
- Highway-ready electric motorcycles support new commuter ecosystems where smaller vehicles handle both dense-city trips and suburban connections.
- Battery Technology
- Affordable LFP battery integration highlights opportunities for chemistries optimized around lifecycle, stability and cost rather than maximum performance.
