Motorola Edge 70 Max Combines Slim Design With Rugged Water Protect

Motorola’s Edge 70 Max combines a slim design with added protection against dust, water and everyday knocks. It has an aircraft-grade aluminium frame, Gorilla Glass 7i and slim bezels, keeping its look closer to a standard smartphone than a rugged handset.

The phone carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, including protection against strong water jets. It measures 8.3mm thick and weighs 221g, with the extra bulk helping accommodate a battery that lasted 28 hours in a Wi-Fi test.

The Edge 70 Max costs around $850 through Motorola, while third-party retailers list it for about $650. However, water resistance does not guarantee protection from all liquid damage, which may not be covered by the warranty.
