Aside from the chic and minimalist layout that is accented by the color blue to introduce a uniform balance and capture attention, the staircase that connects the two floors doubles as a climbing wall. The aesthetic and functionality directly tie to the owner's love for rock climbing. The staircase is made with teak wood and powder-coated iron, boasting a similar no-frills style as other areas of the dynamic household. Below the staircase, Deferrari+Modesti includes a metal bench and a wooden storage box in order to maximize the use of space.
