Frontline workers are continuing to work tirelessly in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, which is seeing brands step up to support them with new campaign initiatives like Dunkin' Coffee Break.
The campaign consists of an online gift card shop that will allow patrons to purchase an e-gift card for a doctor, nurse, first responder, grocery store clerk, teacher, postal worker or anyone else in their that they want to show a bit of appreciation towards. The brand will donate $1 up to $100,000 for every card purchased to the Dunkin' Joy in Childhood Foundation emergency funds.
The Dunkin' Coffee Break campaign is just one of a few initiatives being run by the brand, which also includes many franchises delivering coffee and baked goods to healthcare workers across the US.
President of Dunkin' Americas Scott Murphy spoke on the new initiatives saying, "The heroic people and organizations keeping this country running during such an uncertain time can count on Dunkin’ to have their backs. Through the power of our Foundation and the commitment of our franchisees to give back to the neighborhoods where they live and work, Dunkin’ will continue to support our guests, our communities, and the heroes making daily sacrifices on the front lines of the COVID-19 fight.”
