Dunkin and hockey continue to go hand-in-hand in the latest ad from the fast food chain, which takes a creative approach to appeal to its demographic. The ad brands itself as the unofficial beverage of the fast food chain, and tapped animated figures to drive the point home.
Instead of relying on actors or real hockey players, Dunkin' created a miniature world starring the figures of Air Hockey tables, much like the ones some consumers keep in their homes. In the ad, the goalie has left his net wide open while he went to get a Dunkin' cold brew. Even though the game was on the line, the implication was that it was worth the risk for his favorite beverage.
