The 'Kitchen Sink Dunkers' are a new product from Trader Joe's that boast a butter cookie base and embrace a "more is more" approach to ingredients. The sweet and crunchy cookies boast an elongated form that's ideal for dipping, plus an assemblage of ingredients like chocolate pieces, raisins, nuts, oats and seeds. As such, Trader Joe's notes that "No two are exactly alike."
At the same time there are plenty of picture-perfect "Instagram-worthy" new food and beverage products being launched single every day, there are also brands that are diverging from convention and to some extent are even eschewing looks. Across the food and beverage industries, brands are embracing the use of "ugly" ingredients, irregularly shaped products and are playing up the unconventional charms of snack items for branding and marketing purposes.
