Dudd Haus is a new gallery in Philadelphia that brings underrepresented design into the spotlight. Founded by Chris Held and Charles Constantine, the space grew from the Jonalddudd pop-up into a permanent showroom and collective. It now hosts over 25 emerging designers and artists, offering a collaborative structure that lowers commissions and supports sustainable creative work. “The goal is collaboration, increased visibility, and ultimately a sustainable living through one’s design practice,” Held explained.
Set in the city’s Old City neighborhood, the gallery features flowing curtains and warm textures that contrast with bold, experimental furniture and objects. Highlights include sculptural lighting, graphic cabinets, and playful seating that blends storytelling with function. More than just a showroom, Dudd Haus works as a platform for ongoing dialogue, equity, and visibility. It positions itself as an alternative to traditional gallery models by focusing on community and expanding access in the design world.
