R-Rated Comedy Subscription Services

CollegeHumor's Dropout Subscription Service is in Beta

CollegeHumor, an online comedy site launched nearly 20 years ago, recently announced its new Dropout subscription service as a means of providing R-rated comedy shows online. According to CollegeHumor CEO Rich Cusick, "We're pushing the boundary -- not with every show, because not every show creatively demands it, but with many." This description is perhaps the best for this new service as it allows CollegeHumor to produce content that may be banned by YouTube or a traditional television network.

The Dropout subscription service will be modeled as a tiered subscription model based on how many months a user subscribes for. Three months will run for $3.99 per month, six for $4.99 per month, and $5.99 a month for users wanting to pay month-by-month.
