The UK Will Give Drones a Unique Code to Identify Drone Owners

The United Kingdom will introduce a compulsory drone registration program, which was mandated by the Civil Aviation Authority. The drone registration program will link individual drones with an owner, and registration will cost approximately $12 USD. Additionally, drone owners will be required to take an online test to complete the process. After the test, owners will receive a unique code that will link them to a drone.
The Civil Aviation Authority has also stated that drones are to be registered before November 30th, and drones will have to be lighter than 250g. The new rules will help the country regulate and keep track of drone flights.
As drone regulations proliferate through different countries, drone producers are creating designs to match the rules. For example, DJI has crafted a drone that weighs in just under to 250g limit.
