Architect NBBJ Boasts a Concept for Prefab Drive-Through Clinics
Kalina Ned — January 7, 2021 — Art & Design
This drive-through vaccination clinic is just one of the examples that speak to how COVID-19 has motivated architects and designers to create various products that are specifically tailored to meet the demands of the pandemic. The concept was developed by architect NBBJ as a drive-through clinic that can not only deliver vaccination but can treat patients, as well. What's more, the drive-through vaccination clinics can certainly expedite the vaccination roll-out, which is of interest to many individuals and businesses.
The proposal shows how patients will "drive into special bays outside hospitals or in hospital parking garages." From there, they can interact with the healthcare staff straight from their vehicle. The innovative and efficiency-focused concept is aptly named ' In Car Care.'
