Yamaha Unveils its Hydrogen-Powered Golf Cart, the 'Drive H2'

Yamaha Golf Car Company has unveiled the Drive H2, a hydrogen-powered golf car concept model. Built on the foundation of Yamaha's popular Drive2 Concierge 4 four-seater golf car, the Drive H2 integrates cutting-edge technology to create a sustainable, eco-friendly golfing experience.

The Drive H2 features two high-pressure hydrogen tanks strategically positioned beneath the driver's seat and on the rear seat. This vehicle, which was previewed at the PGA Show 2024, leverages hydrogen engines to eliminate CO2 emissions during combustion.

"[...] This is the manifestation of Yamaha’s commitment to continue to develop clean internal combustion engines utilising our existing engine technology and it also dovetails with our commitment to decarbonisation and sustainability," said Matt Taylerson, Divisional Manager of Marketing at Yamaha.
