Taiwanese design studio Drilling Lab has created a bizarre but enticing collection of rings using little more than an industrial clamp. This gritty, industrial-looking ring might be a good fit for those who want to wear rings that don't look too feminine.
The rings, which are made in a Taiwanese factory, come in two different forms. The Type A ring consists of two pieces embedded with a screw, while the Type B ring has an exposed screw. The rings are delivered in a box with different-colored screws and an allen key, and are easy to assemble or disassemble. The different-colored rings allow people to personalize the rings and add individual character to them.
This Drilling Labs project is a great example of how seemingly dull and ordinary objects can be turned into things of beauty.
