The Dress to Kill 'Ethereal' editorial is hauntingly delicate. From the luminous studio backdrop to the diaphanous wardrobe and pale skin, the photoshoot looks as though it were straight out of a dream. Appearing in the Spring 2013 issue of the magazine, which happens to be its fifth anniversary edition, the photoshoot is appropriately graceful and dramatic.
Shot by Toronto- and Montreal-based photography duo Lily & Lilac, the Dress to Kill 'Ethereal' editorial stars model Ishie Wang. The Chinese beauty is outfitted in sleek silhouettes and graphic shapes from a host of designer labels. The show-stopping wardrobe was put together by stylist Nadia Pizzimenti. The otherworldly looks were complemented with a sleek low ponytail and geometric eye liner by beauty artist Sabrina Rinaldi. Wang is a modern geisha in these ensembles.
