Temporary retail stores have become increasingly popular; One Direction had fans lined up for hours anticipating the availability of items featuring the 5 young heartthrobs and now in Toronto, Drake has followed the same pattern.
To publicize his 4th album 'Nothing was the Same,' Drake took over 1000 Queen St. W in Toronto this year with a free giveaway to his fans. Fans lined up for hours and some even slept outside the store in order to be first in line.
They had the availability of choosing between six shirt options and people were overwhelmed with enthusiasm while walking into the store playing nothing but Drake music. This was a great way for him to offer something to his fans while gaining publicity and hyping his new album.
