Virtual Outfit Try-On Apps

The 'Doppl' App Helps Users Visualize Outfits Before They Buy Online

The 'Doppl' app has been announced by Google as an experimental digital tool that harnesses the power of artificial intelligence (AI) to help consumers make more informed decisions before purchasing clothes online. The app is available now for Android and iOS users to download, and works by letting users virtually try on outfits using a digital version of their likeness. The app does this by having users upload a full-body photo and further train the AI with additional photos or screenshots to get better results.

Google commented on the 'Doppl' app in a blog post saying, "We hope Doppl helps you explore your style in new and exciting ways. As a Google Labs experiment, Doppl is in its early days and it might not always get things right. Fit, appearance and clothing details may not always be accurate.”
