Boat house furniture has a class of its own and the Donna Wilson 'Bertha' cabinet from the Bertha collection serves a perfect tribute to boat house decor. It is joined with an armchair and two-seat sofa, but this cabinet looks much like a DIY backyard project in which large Popsicle sticks were used to create a cupboard. It has a light brown, simple design with two character-building key holes as door handles.
Instead of traditional knobs, the door handles are mere keyhole cutouts in the wood so owners can grasp the cabinet doors when opening or closing them. The concept behind this furniture causes one to think that perhaps putting together pieces with simple wood could present better decor than many of today's complex modern designs.
