French photographer Dominique Tarle and his work are closely linked to rock n' roll superstars the Rolling Stones. He was given the unlikely opportunity to document the band during their vacation in the south of France at Villa Nellcôte in 1971. Dominique Tarle had the privilege of photographing the band over a period of six months, during which time he captured a collection of candid shots of the band relaxing, partying, writing songs and recording them in the studio.
The black and white photos are fascinating for any Rolling Stones fan. Dominique Tarle and his photographs of the band provide fans with a personal look into the lives of some of the most famous rock stars to have ever lived. The photos portray their luxurious lifestyles in a natural and uncontrived manner.
