Domestic Crop-Spraying Drones

Exedy Drones Opens Reservations for the Michigan-Assembled Ayre CX

Exedy Drones opened U.S. reservations for the ‘Ayre CX,’ a mid-size crop-spraying aircraft built for farm operators and targeted for first deliveries in spring 2027. Each reservation secures a numbered production slot through authorized dealers, giving buyers a clearer path to supply as foreign-drone rules shift.

The Ayre CX carries a 50-liter tank to cover mixed field sizes. It is assembled in Southeast Michigan and features U.S.-written software, U.S.-based data hosting and FCC conditional approval for import, sale and operation in the U.S. Reservations cost $1,000, with $750 refundable before a purchase deposit.

Exedy Drones shows how FCC conditional approval can make the Ayre CX a less uncertain option for operators who need an aircraft they can legally buy and fly, while Michigan assembly shifts the sales pitch beyond tank size, making support access and compliance part of the purchase decision for agricultural drone fleets.
