Codable Music Videos

Doja Cat & Girls Who Code Created the Interactive Music Video DojaCode

Doja Cat released a regular music video for Woman on YouTube and with it, an interactive version called DojaCode that was created in partnership with the non-profit Girls Who Code. This experience introduces the first codable music video and it gives viewers the chance to unlock hidden video content using basic coding languages.

DojaCode gives coders the ability to change nail designs, control the sky and even manifest Doja Cat herself, effectively turning viewers into directors as they choose the creative direction for the experience. This interactive music video was created to expose a new generation to potential careers in tech and computer science and Tarika Barrett, the CEO of Girls Who Code, expresses "We know firsthand that girls and young women are some of today’s most powerful creators and change-makers."
